Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Responsiveness Summary: a little more expensive, but didn't try to charge me more for things that they did to commit to their promise. I was recommended Basement Detectives by a friend and was pleasantly surprised by the fact that they were able to give me an estimate on site. It was significantly more than the national average, but a little more for the locality. Not only that, they give a lifetime warranty on their work and during the process they realized that my basement windows needed an extra drain, which they added without adding to the cost because we were not at fault for this, we didn't know. They also sealed a crack that was already there that was supposed to be in the contract, but wasn't, and addressed all of the issues as per the contract otherwise. There is a lag time right now as our area has had a lot of rain lately and the homes are older- so they are very busy. But it is worth the wait. Today, as it rains, I went downstairs to see if everything was functional. Not only was everything working-- the musty smell that used to be in my basement after it rains was gone. I highly recommend them. They are a family-owned business and their employees seem happy to work there.
